Job Description:

Ehrhart Griffin & Associates (EGA) is a highly experienced and diversified company that provides civil engineering, land surveying, and construction management services. We currently have exciting opportunities for a civil engineering technician in the land development industry on commercial, residential, institutional and municipal projects. Below are the responsibilities we would ask a new CAD technician to work on. • CAD drafting with Civil3D program, • Accurately preparing CAD drawings using firm standards within an allotted timeframe, • Assisting engineers with civil design, including: o Horizontal and vertical design for streets and parking lots, o Grading design, o Sanitary and storm sewer design, o Design of water and other utilities. • Assisting engineers with construction plan preparation, • Preparing applications for permits through City, County, State and Federal agencies.

Job Requirements

• 2-year degree in CAD Drafting, • AutoCAD Civil 3D experience or training required, • Microsoft Office experience required, • Individuals with past work experience are preferred, • Excellent oral and technical written communication skills.
