Farming Technician- $5,000 Hiring Bonus - Broken Bow, NE

Job Description:

We have an opportunity for a highly motivated and disciplined individual to assist with all aspects of production farming near our operation in Broken Bow, Nebraska. This person will be responsible for: All aspects of production farming including: planting, herbicide/insecticide application, cultivation, irrigation, harvest and spring and fall tillage. Assisting with all field maintenance and improvement projects. Assisting in the maintenance of machinery and equipment. Accurate information, documentation and quality control of seed corn, herbicide and insecticide applications. Effluent pipeline and pumping record.

Job Requirements

This position requires: A valid driver’s license Exerting 50-100 pounds of force occasionally, 25-50 pounds of force frequently and 10-20 pounds of force constantly. Standing, sitting, walking, carrying, and lifting/lowering frequently; pushing/pulling, bending, twisting, climbing, reaching/handling/grasping, and kneeling/crouching occasionally; crawling and stairs rarely. Individual must be able to work in adverse weather conditions. Compensation Details: Starting Wage: $18.00 to $24.00 per hour $5,000 Hiring Bonus Comprehensive Benefits which begin on Day 1 of employment including: medical, dental, vision, paid time off, bonus plan, company match 401(k), and more!
