Diesel Technician - Laurel, NE

Employer: Hansen Brothers Parts & Service, Inc.

Job Description:

Perform minor and major repairs on trucks, trailers, heavy duty equipment, and ag equipment, among others, including, but not limited to, diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical issues, steering, cooling, and tires. Conduct regular preventative maintenance, including inspections, tire rotations, and oil changes. Collaborate with other members of the repair team to diagnose problems and plan repairs, as well as maintaining accurate records of each repair performed.

Job Requirements

Appropriate technical degree, or enrollment in diesel technology program preferred, but not required. Effective oral and written communication skills, the ability to work in an environment with frequent exposure to all weather conditions. Dependability, time management skills, and attention to detail are also a plus.
