Hawks volleyball sweeps Ellsworth

NORFOLK, NE - The Northeast Community College women’s volleyball team earned their second win of the week here last night, defeating Ellsworth Community College in three sets (25-11, 25-8, 25-15).

Macy Stewart led the Hawks in kills with 11, while Elizabeth Selting had ten. Samantha Brester put up five blocks, while Monique Schafer and Gabriela Barbosa had one ace serve each. Schafer had 22 digs, and Peyton Roach, 18. Savannah Nelson led assists with 35, while Delaney Belt tallied four.

Northeast (15-12) will travel to Council Bluffs, IA, on Tuesday, October 17, to face Iowa Western Community College in a 7 p.m. match.
