Hands-On Learning Opportunities and Courses

Student spray painting a carHands-on learning is at the heart of our Auto Body Repair Technology program, with refinishing vehicles serving as a core focus. In one of the program’s most dynamic projects, students dive deep into the refinishing process, gaining real-world experience with the latest, state-of-the-art equipment. This hands-on approach ensures student develop the practical skills and confidence needed to excel in the ever-evolving automotive industry.

The program includes a diverse range of courses designed to provide students with both foundational knowledge and specialized skills, including: 

  • Major Body Damage Repair 
  • Paint Care and Refinishing  
  • Glass, Trim, and Welding 

Program Details

2 years (69 credits)

Students will meet face-to-face for lab, Monday- Thursday, allowing for a three-day weekend. Hybrid classes are two days a week more if needed. A required summer internship provides students with on-the-job training.

Upon completion of the program students will also have attained 6H EPA Certification and Axalta Cromax XP Painter Certification.
