Visit Osaka, Kyoto, Nara, and Hiroshima
Study Japanese history and religion as we travel to the cities of Osaka, Kyoto, Nara, and Hiroshima. You will explore various temples, experience a Kabuki performance, and dine on local cuisine.
May 18–29, 2027
Registration opens Friday, October 2, at 1 p.m.
Registration deadline is November 20.
- First come, first served.
- A $500 non-refundable deposit is due at registration.
- Register in the office of Thomas Elliott (Maclay 1316).
- In-person registrants will be given priority.
COST: $3,995*
Payment Schedule
Upon Registration: $500
December 4: An additional $1,500 (for a total of $2,000)
February 1: An additional $1,000 (for a total of $3,000)
March 15: An additional $995 (for a total of $3,995)
If flights cost less than expected, the overall cost will be reduced.
Additional Requirements
- Register for a one-credit-hour course in Spring 2027 that will prepare you for international travel.
- Register for a one-credit-hour course in May that coincides with the travel experience.
