Nelnet Campus Commerce Payment Plan
To help you meet your educational expenses, Northeast is proud to offer Nelnet Campus Commerce (NCC) as a convenient budget plan.
There are no interest or finance charges, and a credit check is not required. NCC, the leading tuition payment plan provider in the industry, and Northeast will provide you with sensible strategies for covering the costs of college.
Automatic Bank Payment (ACH) will be used to make your monthly payment(s) on the 5th of each month through the responsible party’s bank account or credit card account.
The NCC program is based on electronic payments developed on a predetermined schedule. Students and their families know in advance when each payment will be made as well as the amount of each payment. This allows them to budget more easily the monthly payments for tuition and related expenses. The plan requires a $25.00 per semester nonrefundable NCC Enrollment Fee. This fee will be deducted from your account by NCC.

Frequently Asked Questions about NCC
While Nelnet Campus Commerce specifies the date each payment will occur, it is your financial institution that determines the time of day the payment is debited. Nelnet Campus Commerce recommends you check with your financial institution to determine how far in advance funds should be deposited into your account to ensure the automatic payment clears. If a payment date falls on a weekend or banking holiday, the payment will be attempted the following business day.
Once your agreement is posted, you will receive a confirmation notification of your payment amount by e-mail or letter. Payments will be processed until the total balance is paid in full. The notification has important information and also serves as a reminder that a $25 per semester, nonrefundable Enrollment Fee will be processed from the account indicated on the agreement.
In accordance with the terms and conditions of your agreement, payments are processed electronically. Nelnet Campus Commerce does not accept payments by phone.
Should an automatic bank payment or credit card payment be returned, a $30 Returned Payment Fee will be automatically assessed to your account. You will be notified by Nelnet Campus Commerce of the returned payment via mail or e-mail.
Student Accounts & Cashier will place a hold on your account until your account has been paid in full. This will prevent you from being accessed a late fee, which is posted to accounts that are not paid in full the first day of the term. Once your account is paid in full, the hold will be cleared from the account. If you should need access to your account while on the NCC payment plan you can do so by calling Student Accounts & Cashier at (402) 844-7001 to request a temporary release on the hold.
