Northeast Community College students are taking the lead in the next theater production, “The 39 Steps.”
Every year, Northeast students take the lead role in the fourth play of the school year, which this year happens to be the British spy thriller that was directed by Alfred Hitchcock. The other Northeast plays are performed with the Norfolk Community Theatre.
Adam Peterson, the Northeast communications and theater instructor, is the director. Alex Mckeown is the assistant director.
The performances will be Thursday to Saturday, April 24-26, at 7:30 p.m. each day, and Sunday, April 27, at 1:30 p.m.
The cast and crew will feature students and faculty. The cast will be Aiden Doughty, Katy Edmisten, Presley Wolf, Charlie Starkel and Leah Tillman.
The crew includes Jaiden Ertzner, Elizabeth Weed, Bridgett Long, Kat Stuthman, Brandon Pruden, Charlie Henkel, Paul Muncy, Taylor Kleinschmit, Cameron Long, Cameron McKirdy and Kelly McKeown.
