GENEALOGY – STEPS TO RESEARCHING YOUR GERMAN ROOTS. This class will explore the steps needed to be successful in locating your German family in American and German records. We’ll talk about the primary records used for German research and some tools to help you successfully navigate these records despite a potential language barrier. ESTATE PLANNING AND THE PROBATE PROCESS – WHAT, WHY, HOW. Death is a hard reality to confront but planning for the future can be very beneficial for those loved ones left behind. Preparing documents like wills, trusts and power of attorneys in advance may alleviate stress and bring comfort and clarity during the grieving process. This class will teach you: what to consider before having these documents prepared, how to protect your assets, minimize tax consequences, how to designate someone else to make important decisions for you and how to ensure those wishes are carried out. CONNECTION OF GUT HEALTH TO OVERALLL HEALTH. Learn how the health of our gut and the microbes that live within us affect nearly every other system in our body. Autoimmune diseases, food intolerances, fatigue, skin irritations, weight gain, and stomach issues can all be a sign of poor gut health. IMPORTANCE OF BLOOD SUGAR BALANCE. Blood sugar monitoring is not only important for diabetics. Learn how the role of blood sugar monitoring can change your hormones, inflammation, mood swings, cholesterol, and much more. We will explore the body’s response to high blood sugar and methods we can take to prevent and even reverse chronic disease caused by elevated blood sugars. BALANCING HORMONES THROUGH NUTRITION. This course focuses on how nutrition can help balance hormones and support women’s health at every stage. This class covers natural ways to improve your menstrual cycle without birth control, manage perimenopause and menopause, and support PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome) through holistic approaches. DRIVER’S ED: Provisional Operator’s Permit. This is a Provisional Operators Permit driver training course for individuals 14-17 years old. A Learner’s or School Permit is required for participation and needs to be brought to the first class. The class requires 20 hours of classroom and a minimum of 6 hours of driving. Students will acquire the skills to operate a vehicle. The driving experience will be arranged by the instructor with the student, parent and or guardian within the time frame specified.
