AMES, IA - It was a successful year for the Northeast Community College Athletic Department both competitively and in the classroom. This week, the Iowa Community College Athletic Association (ICCAC) announced that 53 Northeast student-athletes were named to its Academic All-Region teams for the 2019 spring semester. Northeast is one of 15-members of the ICCAC.

To be named to the ICCAC All-Region Academic First Team, the student-athlete must have earned a 3.5-4.0 grade point average (GPA). To be named to the All-Region Academic Second Team, the student-athlete must have earned a 3.0-3.49 GPA.
