Students in the Physical Education in the Elementary School course at Northeast Community College encourage children from Montessori Circle of Friends Pre-School in Norfolk recently.
The class activity, held in the Cox Activities Center on the Northeast campus, provided pre-school learners the opportunity to practice simple locomotor skills, teamwork, cooperation and rhythmic activities in a safe environment, all while giving Northeast students an opportunity to interact with young learners. The course is designed to give instructional methods for teaching of physical education to elementary school aged children.
