The board was originally scheduled to meet on Tuesday, March 19, in the Nielsen Community Center, 200 Anna Stalp Ave., in West Point. The meeting will be held on the same day with a new location on the Northeast campus in Norfolk. The regular meeting will be held in Room #1108-B in the College Welcome Center beginning at 3 p.m.
The board was to meet in West Point to coincide with the ribbon cutting of the new Donald E. Nielsen Career and Technical Center, 200 W. Washington St., just north of the Nielsen Community Center. Due to flooding concerns in the Cuming County region, the ceremony has been postponed to Thursday, April 11, at 10 a.m.
