Northeast's leadership groups explore campus with selfie scavenger hunt

NORFOLK, NE - Skylar Wear, Fort Calhoun, snaps a selfie of her team in front of the Northeast Community College greenhouse as part of a selfie scavenger hunt recently. The scavenger hunt was part of Northeast’s Student Leadership Development Series, a four-part, year-long leadership training for the four core leadership groups on campus: the Resident and Student Assistant (RA/SA) team, Student Activities Council (SAC), Student Leadership Association (SLA) and Student Ambassadors. “The scavenger hunt is an opportunity for our student leaders to find the location of several of the services Northeast offers, so they are familiar with what’s available and can better assist their fellow students,” said Carissa Kollath, director of student activities. The training series also included HEART (Humility, Energy x Execution, Awareness, Relationships, Teamwork = Trust) principles training by Bobby Audley of Penneau Training Group.
