Dr. Michael Chipps, president of Northeast Community College (center), visits with Nebraska State Senators Lynne Walz and Bob Krist, in the J. Paul and Eleanor McIntosh College of Nursing during a tour of the Northeast campus in Norfolk recently.
Krist is seeking the Democratic gubernatorial nomination while Walz is his running mate. Both are Nebraska state senators. Krist, of Omaha, represents District #10, while Walz, of Fremont, represents District #15.
