Drone technology to be focus of lecture at Northeast in South Sioux City

SOUTH SIOUX CITY, NE - The Visiting Lecture Series at the Northeast Community College South Sioux City extended campus will hold its last meeting of the spring semester later this month with a new speaker and topic.

Jake Rains will present a lecture on the future of drones in various fields, such as broadcasting, criminal justice, agriculture and medical services.

The lecture will be held Friday, May 18, from 1-2:30 p.m. in Room 126 of the South Sioux City extended campus, 1001 College Way. The event is free and open to the public, and refreshments will be provided.

Rains is a drone pilot and photographer.

The Visiting Lectures Series is part of TGIF (Trending Topics, Great Gatherings, Insightful Information, Friday Fun) at Northeast’s South Sioux City extended campus. It is designed for the general public and has hosted other speakers from diverse backgrounds.
