Hawks baseball drops two against Iowa Lakes

NEBRASKA CITY, NE - The Northeast Community College baseball team dropped two conference games against Iowa Lakes Community College here yesterday. The Lakers swept the Hawks 8-5 in the first game and 12-7 in the nightcap.

In game one, Brennen Bales was 2-3 with a double and one RBI. Cale Hlavac finished 2-3 with three RBIs; Tanner Hunt, 1-4 with a double and one RBI. Dylan Wright had the loss.

Game two saw Jackson Tingwald finished 3-4 with a home run, a double and two RBIs; Cole Spears, 2-2 with a double; Christian Dumont, 2-5 with a home run and two RBIs; Bales, 2-5 with a double and one RBI; Jarod Morris, 1-5 with a home run and two RBIs.

The Hawks (15-23-1 overall, 4-10 in conference) will continue their series against Iowa Lakes today in Nebraska City, with game times set for 12 and 2:30 p.m.
