Northeast baseball falls to NIACC, 15-1 and 13-1

NORFOLK, NE - The Northeast Community College baseball team came up short in a doubleheader against North Iowa Area Community College (NIACC) here yesterday. The Hawks were swept by the Trojans 15-1 in the first game and 13-1 in the second.

Donovan Warren went 1-for-1 and was the lone scorer for the Hawks in the first game with a home run. Alex Fetters was the losing pitcher.

In the second game, Tanner Hunt was 1-for-2 with a double and one RBI, while Brennen Bales was 1-for-2 with a run scored. Joe Jaramillo took the loss.

Northeast (10-20-1 overall, 1-7 in conference) will travel to Fremont on Wednesday to face Midland University JV at 4:30 p.m.
