Northeast baseball goes 0-2 against #11 Northern Oklahoma Enid

ENID, OK - The Northeast Community College baseball team fell to #11 Northern Oklahoma College - Enid this weekend, dropping two games, 11-1 and 7-6.

In game one, Christian Dumont was 1-for-3 with a triple and one run scored. Dylan Wright took the loss.

Game two against the Jets saw Dumont finishing 3-for-4 with a home run, double and two RBIs. Tanner Hunt was 2-for-4 with a home run and one RBI; Jarod Morris, 2-for-4 with a double; Donovan Warren, 1-for-4 with a home run and run scored. Brennen Bales was the losing pitcher.

On Sunday, the Hawks faced #4 Northern Oklahoma College - Tonkawa. Game one was suspended due to rain after six innings at a 5-5 tie. Game two was cancelled.

The Hawks (7-13) will host Iowa Central Community College on Saturday and Sunday at Veterans Memorial Field in Norfolk. The doubleheaders are set to start at 1 p.m. both days.
