NORFOLK, NE – Northeast Community College has signed a recruit from Utah to play baseball next season. Jayden Sinju, of Murray, UT, has signed a letter of intent to play for the Hawks in 2018-19.

Sinju, a 6'4 outfielder, had a .526 batting average, scoring 14 runs, 20 hits, 13 RBIs and four home runs for the Murray High School Spartans.

Northeast Coach Marcus Clapp said, “Jayden will be an important piece for us defensively, but his bat will be big for us in the middle of the order.”

Other baseball signees for the Hawks next season include Coby Tweten, a 6’ 8” left-handed pitcher/first baseman, of Grand Forks, ND, and Jeremy Schneider is a 6’ 2” right handed pitcher from Lovell, WY.
