MARSHALLTOWN, IA – The Northeast Community College men's basketball team was defeated on the road Saturday by Marshalltown Community College, 69-49.
The Hawks went into halftime down 16; however, they came out and played better in the second half in the defeat.
Melkisedek Moreaux had a double-double on the night with 16 points and 13 rebounds for Northeast. Steve Wooten finished with 13 points and three rebounds. Allen Anderson added eight points and five rebounds.
The Hawks (12-10) will be back in action on Wednesday when its hosts Central Community College in the Cox Activities Center on the Northeast campus in Norfolk. Tip-off is at 8 p.m.
