As a team, Northeast shot 62 percent from the field.
Six Northeast players finished in double figures. Melkisedek Moreaux led the way with 26 points, nine boards and seven assists. Steve Wooten added 24 points and four rebounds, while Moses Byekwaso tallied 17 points and seven boards. Julius Sakinis added a 15-point, ten-rebound double-double. Asher Scavella had 15 points and seven rebounds off the bench.
The Hawks (10-6) will be back in action Saturday when they host their final game before the winter break. They will face Highland Community College (KS) at the Cox Activities Center on the Norfolk campus at 2 p.m.
