Hertz Farm Management Inc. recently established a scholarship with Northeast Community College for the upcoming 2025-26 academic year.
Founded in 1946 by Carl Hertz, Hertz Farm Management Inc. focuses on protecting land and planning for the future. Headquartered in Nevada, Iowa, the company also has offices in Illinois, Minnesota and Nebraska. Each provides professional farm management, farmland real estate and appraisal services.
Hertz Farm Management Inc. handles daily decisions and long-term planning for landowners with a hands-on or passive role. While working with top agricultural operators, farms are managed effectively and sustainably while maximizing return.
“Protect your land. Plan for the future. That’s the focus of Hertz Farm Management Inc.,” said Office Manager and Farm Manager Scott Arens, a 1996 Northeast Community College graduate. “As agriculture evolves, we stay ahead by ensuring farms remain competitive with the modern marketplace. Our team leverages technology, data analytics and sustainable practices to enhance productivity and profitability.”
Hertz Farm Management Inc. has been part of the Norfolk community for nearly 30 years. Since being established in 1998, the team has continued to be driven by the core value of providing the highest level of service, advice, communication and commitment with integrity and care.
“Supporting the community is the foundation of our work. We embrace it,” said Arens. “By establishing a scholarship, we have the opportunity to continue planning for the future through the investment in the next generation of agricultural leaders by supporting their educational and career development.”
