Metals Shop

  • National 48” Brake — Bends sheets of metal to create clean angles and folds. Sample uses: metal boxes, trays, brackets, flashing, signs and decorative pieces.
  • Slip Roller — Rolls flat sheet metal into curves and rounded shapes. Sample uses: cylinders, curved panels, planters, fire pit components and decorative metalwork.
  • Horizontal Bandsaw — Cuts metal bars, tubing and pipe to length. Sample uses: cutting pieces for furniture frames, railings, repair projects or welded projects.
  • Vertical Bandsaw — Makes straight or curved cuts to shape metal pieces. Sample uses: brackets, decorative shapes, custom parts and prototypes.
  • Drill Press — Drills accurate, consistent holes. Sample uses: bolt holes in brackets, hardware installation, signs and fabricated parts.
  • Downdraft Table — Captures dust, fumes and particles generated during metalworking, grinding and sanding. Sample uses: cleaning up welded projects, smoothing metal pieces and preparing surfaces for finishing.
  • Welding Booths — Dedicated spaces for joining metal pieces through welding. Sample uses: furniture, garden décor, repairs, frames, signs, shelving and custom fabrication.
  • Belt & Disk Grinder — Shapes and smooths metal and removes rough edges. Sample uses: cleaning up cut pieces, rounding corners, finishing welded projects and shaping parts.
  • Electrode Oven — Keeps welding rods dry and ready for use. Primarily supports quality welding rather than being a project-making tool itself.
  • Fiber Laser — Precisely cuts or marks compatible metal materials using a computer-controlled laser. Sample uses: personalized metal signs, nameplates, logos, ornaments, detailed artwork, custom parts and gifts.
  • CNC Plasma Table — Computer-controlled equipment that cuts shapes and designs from sheets of metal. Sample uses: address signs, wall art, business signage, farm signs, fire pit designs, brackets and custom parts.
  • Ironworker — Cuts, punches and notches heavier pieces of metal. Sample uses: brackets, frames, structural pieces, repair parts and fabrication projects.
  • Blasting Cabinet — Uses abrasive material to clean or prepare a metal surface. Sample uses: removing rust from old tools, cleaning automotive parts, stripping paint and preparing pieces for refinishing.

Wood Shop

  • Sliding Compound Miter Saw — Makes quick, accurate straight and angled cuts in boards. Sample uses: picture frames, shelves, furniture, trim, planter boxes and home projects.
  • Router Table — Shapes edges and cuts grooves or decorative details. Sample uses: signs, cabinet doors, shelves, cutting boards, trim and decorative woodworking.
  • Bandsaw — Cuts straight or curved shapes from wood. Sample uses: décor, toys, furniture pieces, signs and custom shapes.
  • SawStop Table Saw — Makes accurate straight cuts and includes technology designed to stop the blade if it contacts skin. Sample uses: furniture, cabinets, shelves, cutting boards and home improvement projects.
  • Jointer — Creates a flat face and straight edge on rough or uneven boards. Sample uses: preparing lumber for tables, benches, shelves, cabinets and other furniture.
  • Spindle Sander — Smooths curved edges and hard-to-reach areas. Sample uses: signs, toys, curved furniture pieces and decorative projects.
  • Disc Belt Sander — Shapes wood and smooths edges and surfaces. Sample uses: finishing shelves, furniture pieces, décor, toys and small woodworking projects.
  • Drill Press — Makes precise and repeatable holes. Sample uses: furniture assembly, hardware installation, wooden toys, jigs and decorative projects.
  • Planer — Makes boards smooth and a consistent thickness. Sample uses: preparing reclaimed or rough lumber for tables, shelves, benches and furniture.

  • Safety Speed Panel Saw — Safely cuts large sheets such as plywood into smaller pieces. Sample uses: cabinets, shelving, furniture, signs and larger home projects.
  • CNC Router — Uses a computer-controlled cutting tool to cut and carve detailed designs. Sample uses: personalized signs, carved names and logos, wall décor, furniture pieces, templates and custom gifts.

Rapid Prototyping Lab

  • Bambu 3D Printers — Turn digital designs into physical plastic objects. Sample uses: replacement knobs and clips, organizers, phone stands, toys, models, prototypes, holiday decorations, custom gifts and parts that are difficult to buy.
  • Epilog Laser Engravers — Engrave detailed designs or cut compatible materials such as wood and acrylic. Sample uses: personalized tumblers, cutting boards, ornaments, signs, awards, nameplates, wedding décor, gifts and business products.
  • Vinyl Printer and Cutter — Prints and cuts custom vinyl graphics. Sample uses: stickers, decals, window graphics, labels, signs and custom branding.
  • Soldering Station — Connects wires and small electronic components. Sample uses: electronics repairs, LED projects, simple circuits, prototypes and custom electronic projects.
