Dr. Leon Engelbart Memorial Scholarship for Freshmen and Sophomores
Qualifications:
- Must be enrolled full-time in a vocational training program
- Must be a resident of Northeast's 20-county service area
- Must show financial need
Peter Kiewit Foundation Scholarship for Freshmen
Qualifications:
- Documented financial need as determined by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid; Financial need is not documented until all verification requirements are reviewed and validated
- Ability and desire to earn a certificate or degree
- Must have legal status to reside in the U.S. and a be a resident of Nebraska or Western Iowa
- Must have been admitted to attend Northeast and be enrolled three-quarter time in a vocational degree, diploma, or certificate program for an in-demand occupation that pays at or above median wage within the region, as determined by Northeast Community College
- Must have a high school GPA of 2.5 or higher and maintain a 2.5 cumulative college GPA or higher
- You must successfully meet the Northeast Community College Financial Aid Standards for Satisfactory Academic Progress
The Craig M. and Lori A. Cook Scholarship for Freshmen and Sophomores
Qualifications:
- Must be enrolled in a nursing program of study or a vocational program of study
- Must have a GPA of 2.5
- First preference is students from Northeast’s 20-county service area; Second preference is students from Nebraska
