Theatre - Musical Theatre Performance
Associate of Arts Degree
Musical Theatre Performance at Northeast Community College is a vibrant new program that brings together
talent from all corners of the performing arts. Students will receive individualized training from Northeast's Music
and Theatre departments, culminating in individual and ensemble performance opportunities. In addition to the
college's offerings through a collaborative agreement with the Norfolk Community Theatre, students will find even
more opportunities to thrive in the performing arts. After earning an associate of arts degree, students will be ready
to enter the workforce or transfer into a bachelor's degree program at a four-year college. Performers trained in
musical theatre expand their performance horizons, giving them a greater chance of having a successful audition.
Note that not all courses for each program can be offered every semester.
