Learn about managing personal finances
Northeast Community College has teamed up with Inceptia, a private, not-for-profit organization, to teach you personal finance basics through Inceptia's online financial education program, Financial Avenue.
Financial Avenue offers a range of online courses and mini-modules to help you gain life-long knowledge about personal money management. Financial Avenue has a variety of courses on financial topics that use videos, interactive tools, calculators, quizzes, and easy-to-understand tips to explain each topic. The best part is everything can be completed online at your convenience and it's FREE.
You will have access to ten online courses that will help you take on big financial topics, including:
- Psychology of Money
- Foundations of Money
- College and Money
- FAFSA
- Loan Guidance
- Earning Money
- Credit and Protecting Your Money
- Spending and Borrowing
- Debt and Repayment
- Future of Your Money
To access Financial Avenue:
- Click the Get Started link above and create your account
- Check your email and click the activation link you receive to the email address you supplied.
You must activate your account before you can access Financial Avenue. - After activating your account, your courses will be available the following day.
- The next day, after the account has been activated, use this login link to access your courses.
