Laurel, NE

Perform minor and major repairs on trucks, trailers, heavy duty equipment, and ag equipment, among others, including, but not limited to, diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical issues, steering, cooling, and tires. Conduct regular preventative maintenance, including inspections, tire rotations, and oil changes. Collaborate with other members of the repair team to diagnose problems and plan repairs, as well as maintaining accurate records of each repair performed.

Mechanical background or related experience preferred, but not required. Effective oral and written communication skills, the ability to work in an environment with frequent exposure to all weather conditions. Dependability, time management skills, and attention to detail are also a plus.

Basic Function
The basic function of the Service Technician is to perform repairs on customer and company owned farm equipment, implements and related machinery in accordance with established company policies and quality standards.

Requirements
This position requires a minimum of a high school diploma. Mechanical background and experience with ag machinery is also preferred.

  2. Accurately record hours worked on each repair order, accurately record all work performed and turn in required paperwork in an accurate and timely manner.

  • Perform routine inspections on agriculture equipment to identify any mechanical, electrical, or other issues.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with equipment using diagnostic tools and manuals.

Purpose
As an Applicator at Central Valley Ag, you will be responsible for the application of agronomy products and to perform needed maintenance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Load, handle, and apply dry and liquid fertilizer, lime, and crop protection products.
  • Understand and safely operate the application equipment assigned.
  • Utilize the information supplied and the technology in the application equipment to ensure that the right products at the right rates are applied and billed to the right fields and customers.
  • Assist in the mixing, loading, unloading and transporting of crop protection and fertilizer products.
