Apply now at KawasakiCareers.com Responsibilities of Quality Engineer can include: • Plan, control, and assure product and process quality in accordance with quality principles, which includes planning processes, material control, acceptance sampling, and measurement systems • Investigate and coordinate activities concerned with nonconforming products, product failures, and product improvements • Analyze and interpret blueprints, data, manuals, and other materials to determine tolerance, inspection and testing procedures, adjustment, formulas, and measuring instruments required, according to standards such as JIS, KES and other Quality specific standards • Review and update Quality control check sheets, testing procedures, programs and other department documentation as requested or required by customer or special requests • Lead and coordinate teams in failure investigations and improvement projects • Participate in the confirmation of design, measurement processes, equipment and documentation for new model components and final product Qualifications for Quality Engineer: • Bachelor of Science degree in Manufacturing or Agricultural/Engineering Technology from a four-year college or university and one to two years’ related work experience preferred; or two-year Associates’ degree in manufacturing technology or similar technical degree or coursework; or equivalent combination of education and work experience • Five (5) years of related manufacturing experience preferred, for example, Quality Assurance/Quality Control • Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology • Experience with ISO 9001 preferred • Knowledge of Quality Control techniques and methods to perform capability and process controls Perks for Quality Engineer: • Great work culture with career growth potential • Excellent benefits package including medical, vision, dental, 401(k), and many more • Paid holidays, educational reimbursement, and flexible spending account available • Employee discount for purchase of company products • Company fitness center and wellness program available • Uniforms, lockers, and uniform laundry available • Educational and relocation reimbursements available Mission: Kawasaki, working as one for the good of the planet.
