Apprentice Electrician - Norfolk, NE

Job Description:

Model Electric, Inc. is a commercial, industrial, and residential electrical contracting company looking for apprentice electricians to fill immediate openings with an hourly wage based on experience and responsibilities. Electricians will install and maintain electrical systems in a safe and efficient manner, and according to the National Electrical Code. Majority of work is new commercial construction/additions/remodel projects. Majority of work will be in Norfolk, NE, and surrounding communities.

Job Requirements

We are looking for candidates that have a strong work ethic, the ability to learn quickly, and have an attention to detail while working towards obtaining a Journeyman License and establishing a career in the electrical industry. Candidates must be 18 years of age and have a valid Nebraska State driver license, have a high school diploma or general education degree, the ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check, and possess an Electrical Apprentice License in the State of Nebraska. Also, candidates must possess the ability to work in a team environment, ability to work off aerial lifts or ladders, ability to communicate with individuals at all levels within the company and with various business contacts outside of the company in an articulate and professional manner, and the ability to interact appropriately with co-workers and supervisors in a professional manner that contributes positively to the team environment.
