Capital Care Staffing helps direct healthcare professionals into a secure but flexible work environment. Capital Care Staffing is working alongside 30 + healthcare facilities across Nebraska to help with the current and unfortunate healthcare shortage. Experience is preferred as training is only optional to a select few facilities. Our nursing staff is held to a standard of professionalism when they enter into any of the facilities that we help staff. Shift assignments and duties are expected to be performed with precision and tact of their respected certification and/ or licenses. Our specialty as a team is driven by quality and excellence. Capital Care Staffing Medication Aides are responsible for many patient care tasks to ensure that each patient receives the comprehensive and personalized care they need. They often have the following responsibilities but are not limited to: Deliver routine daily medications, either prescription or non-prescription, to patients. Coordinate with different nurses to assist with patient care and medications. Follow written or verbal instructions on how to manage medications. Record medication dosages and times. Observe patients and document changes in their condition. Gather samples for analysis. Ensure equipment is routinely inspected and cleaned. Uphold all health and safety standards. Respond to patient emergency call signals, bells, or intercom systems to identify patient needs. *Six months experience is preferred and non-negotiable.
