Nutrition Aide

Job Description:

The Nutrition service aide works in both the kitchen and cafeteria. Assists in the delivery of quality food services by performing duties, which include, but are not limited to, service of patient meals, food preparation and sanitation of service ware and equipment. https://pm.healthcaresource.com/cs/frhs/#/job/6082

Job Requirements

Must be at least 16 years old. Demonstrate coordination to serve food having basic counting skills. Effective communicator with self-motivation and a positive attitude maintained throughout. Must be a self-starter, decision-maker and team player able to maintain productivity. Must have appropriate hygiene according to state and federal regulations. Ability to apply knowledge of patient rights, safety rights, safety practices, infection control principles, and risk management issues. Ability to follow policies and procedures of department and hospital. Ability to maintain a high level of integrity, confidentiality and professionalism. Serve on committees and assist with programs of the hospital to constantly improve the quality of health care and promote good public relations. Ability to work in a timely manner, within the time allotted for the shift per census count.
