Admissions
Returning Applicants
If you have attended Northeast previously and would like to return you will need to follow these easy steps to complete your application.
Application Steps
If you have applied for admission within the last two years, we will still have your record on file and there is no need to submit another application, but it may need to be reactivated by contacting admreg@northeast.edu or call (402) 844-7260
If it has been longer than two years then submit an Application to the Admission's Office.
Send us your High School Transcripts to the Admissions Office (address below).
Send us your Previous College Transcripts to Registrar's Office (address below).
Include any foreign college transcripts.
If you have submitted test scores within the last five years or successfully completed a college level English and Math class, test scores are not necessary.
If you have not submitted test scores within the last five years then submit your ACT or SAT scores to Admission's Office (address below).
If you don't have ACT or SAT scores, you need to contact the Testing Center to schedule an ASSET/COMPASS test.
Test scores are necessary for Mandatory Placement, which helps ensure that you meet the basic skill levels necessary to participate in a college English or Math course.
Check if your program is a Selective Admissions Program. These programs have additional admissions requirements.
Schedule your New Student Registration Session.
When you receive your welcome letter you'll receive information about your Registration Session. If you will be taking six credit hours or more or seeking a degree you are required to participate in a registration session before registering for classes.
