The West Point Extended Campus is located adjacent to the Donald E. Nielsen Community Center at 202 Anna Stalp Avenue in West Point, Nebraska. The facility has state-of-the-art classrooms, computer labs, and advanced health and science labs.
Opportunities through the West Point Extended Campus include early entry classes for high school students in both transfer and technical areas; health related course offerings – lifetime wellness, Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), first aid; short-term business and industry training in areas such as entrepreneurship, leadership, succession planning, and employee on-boarding; and student support services such as advising, testing, tutoring and a writer’s clinic. In all, over 100 credit and non-credit courses and classes are offered through the extended campus.

VITÓRIA, BRAZIL – Team USA may have captured over 100 medals at the recent Olympic games in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. However, another American organization earned its own award during a conference recently in the South American nation. Northeast Community College was the only American institution of higher learning to be recognized during the World Federation of Colleges and Polytechnics’ (WFCP) International Awards of Excellence here.

NORFOLK – Northeast Community College will dedicate its newest buildings in October. Path Hall accommodates approximately 200 students with on-campus housing, while Hawks Point is a dining facility with a capacity of up to 450 students. Both buildings will be dedicated during a special ceremony on Thursday, October 13th, followed by an open house.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Dr. Michael Chipps often says that Northeast Community College is one of the best rural community colleges in the United States. Northeast was named today as one of ten finalists for the 2017 Aspen Prize for Community College Excellence, the nation’s preeminent recognition of high achievement and performance in America’s community colleges.
