High School Students

Early College (dual credit) opportunities are available at no tuition cost for high school students ages 16+. The credits count toward college coursework, helping students build a head start before high school graduation. Fridays @ Northeast

Fridays @ Northeast helps local high school students turn one day a week into a powerful head start. The program is an opportunity for high school seniors to spend Fridays on our O’Neill campus as college students using our lab spaces and classrooms. The courses offered allow introduction to a variety of technical programs and lead into a program of study upon high school graduation. Through this program, students can earn college credit at no tuition cost. The credits count toward college coursework, helping students build a head start before high school graduation.

Continuing Ed & Workforce Training


Healthcare Education

The O’Neill Extended Campus provides strong opportunities for students interested in healthcare careers. With supportive instructors, hands-on learning, and connections to local healthcare providers, students can begin building the skills needed to enter the healthcare field or continue their education in nursing and related careers.

Training opportunities include:​

  • Certified Nursing Aide (CNA): Gain the skills needed to provide basic patient care and begin working in healthcare settings.​
  • Medication Aide (Med Aide): Learn how to safely administer medications and support patient care in long-term care environments.​
  • Pre-Nursing Coursework: Complete foundational courses that prepare students for entry into nursing programs.​
  • Phlebotomy: Develop the skills needed to collect blood samples and support patient testing in clinical settings.​

These programs provide practical experience and help prepare students for employment in hospitals, clinics, long-term care facilities, and other healthcare environments.

About the O’Neill Extended Campus​

The campus has state-of-the-art classrooms, a student lounge, study space, a computer and health and science labs, and a technical training wing that can accommodate welding, building construction, industrial and agriculture-related courses.
