NORFOLK, NE - Members of the Northeast Community College staff and faculty have come together to allow some special people to have a bit of a merrier holiday season this year through their participation in the institution’s Classified Staff Association's (CSA) Tree of Gifts Campaign.

This year, 40 nominations of individuals and their family members who have undergone a hardship or suffered circumstances through no fault of their own, such as medical issues or those who have lost a loved one, were identified. When the tags were made available earlier this month, all 40 were claimed by Northeast employees within 40 minutes. The gifts were distributed within the last week.

“On behalf of the Classified Staff Association, we want to extend our sincere thank you to members of the Northeast family for spreading a little joy this holiday season," said Tonya Brandl, CSA representative. "We hope next year has the same success!"
