Northeast men's basketball drops game to Southeastern, 77-66

by amandab  2/12/2018 8:28:53 AM --  NORFOLK, NE - The Northeast Community College men's basketball team dropped a difficult home game against Southeastern Community College here Saturday. Final score was 77-66.

Although they struggled with shooting from the field, Northeast was able to force the Blackhawks into 15 turnovers. The Hawks came away with ten steals for the game, but every Northeast scoring run was later matched by the Blackhawks.

Steve Wooten led the Hawks with 20 points, seven rebounds and two steals. Jeremiah Codden added 15 points, three steals and three boards. Melkisedek Moreaux chipped in 14 points, eight boards and two steals.

The Hawks (13-13) will face Southeast Community College in Beatrice on Wednesday. Game time is 7 p.m.
