Kurt Kohler, dean of student life and athletics, said the store truly provides a convenience to students.
“Jazzy’s is designed to give our students an opportunity to get snacks, some hygiene products or some of the Northeast gear that we sell up in our Hawks Shop (bookstore). It really serves as a convenience, especially if they can’t get off campus.”
The name of the store is derived from the name of the Northeast Hawks mascot.
Chartwells, Northeast’s foodservice provider, operates the store, which is open Monday-Thursday from 7:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.-12 a.m., and Friday-Sunday from 6:30 p.m.-11 p.m.
