Northeast marketing office recognized by NCMPR

ROCHESTER, MN – The marketing department at Northeast Community College has been recognized among two-year college communicators from across the United States. The National Council for Marketing and Public Relations (NCMPR) presented the Northeast marketing team with three awards during the association’s District 5 regional meeting in Rochester, MN, recently.

Northeast earned a gold award in the newsletter category for the College’s 2017 Graduate Report; a gold award for interior signage/display - single or series for a graphics campaign in the interior of the Northeast Applied Technology building; and a silver award in outdoor media – single or series for a wrap design on the College’s new Precision Agriculture Simulation Trailer.

The thirty-eight categories that make up the NCMPR Medallion Awards recognize outstanding achievement in design and communication at community and technical colleges in each of the organization’s seven districts. The regional competition is exclusive to marketing and public relations (PR) professionals at
two-year colleges.

Northeast’s award-winning pieces will also be considered for NCMPR's prestigious Paragon Awards which recognize outstanding achievement in design and communication at community and technical colleges on the national level. It is the only national competition of its kind that honors excellence exclusively among marketing and PR professionals at two-year colleges.

The Northeast Community College Marketing Department serves as the clearinghouse for all marketing and promotional materials for the College. The team is made up of Jennifer Greve, executive director, Crystal Hollmann, director, and Jeanette Johnson, publication coordinator.
