Northeast baseball falls to DMACC, season comes to an end

CLINTON, IA - The Northeast Community College baseball team ended their season in Game 7 of the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) tournament here today. The #7 Hawks fell to #6 Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC), 11-3.

The Hawks' scored all three of their runs in the third inning.

Donovan Warren finished the game 2-4 with one run and one RBI. Christian Dumont went 2-4 with one run, while Drew Smith was 1-3 with one RBI. Kaden Hendrix was 1-2 with one triple and one run; Brennen Bales, 1-3 with one RBI. Alex Fetters took the loss.

DMACC advances to face #5 Ellsworth Community College tomorrow at 12 p.m.

The Hawks close their first-ever season 18-38-1 and sixth in the nation for home runs with 62.
