Five home runs lead Northeast to win over Mount Marty JV

by amandab  4/12/2018 7:53:24 AM --  NORFOLK, NE - Five Northeast Community College baseball players scored home runs in the Hawks’ 17-4 win over Mount Marty College JV here yesterday.

Donovan Warren was 1-1 with a home run, three RBIs and three runs scored. Christian Dumont finished 2-2 with a home run, one RBI and two runs scored. Tanner Hunt was 2-4 with a home run, one RBI and one run scored; Jean Santos, 2-3 with a home run, one RBI and three runs scored; David Richardson, 1-1 with a home run, two RBIs and one run scored. Travis Koesters was the winning pitcher.

Northeast is now ranked fourth in the nation for home runs, with 51 on the year.

The Hawks (15-21-1) are scheduled to face Iowa Lakes Community College in a four-game set in Estherville, IA, on Saturday at 1 and 2:30 p.m. and Sunday at 12 and 3:30 p.m.
