NORFOLK, NE - Northeast Community College student Abdirahman Jama (right), South Sioux City, assists Juan Garcia of South Sioux City High School with IBMi programming during the Cyber Security and Software Development Summit held last week on the Northeast campus in Norfolk.
Over 50 students from 15 area schools in grades 10-12 participated in the summit, which included sessions on cyber security, HTML 5 and CSS 3, IBMi development and web and visual development. Northeast’s Associate of Applied Science in Information Technology degree offers several career concentrations, including Cisco Networking Academy, information security, IBMi application development, web and visual application development and technical services support.
