Hawks Coach Kurt Pytleski said Monday's weather contributed to high scores for his team.
"It was rainy, wet and cold on Monday. We left a lot of strokes out there. My guys had a lot of three-putts and could not seem to get up and down around the greens. Our short game hurt us this tournament."
The Hawks' A team was led by Brook Klinetobe who had a two-day total of 161 to tie for 15th. Also for the A team, Mason Stubbs totaled 165; Cabe DeBower, 169; Capp Bengston, 175; and Andrew Schnoor, 176.
For Northeast's B team, Dylan Lilienthal shot a 180 over the two days; Kelby Schommer, 183; Riley Beller, 186; and Cordell Walker, 201.
Northeast will host the Nebraska Intercollegiate tournament at Norfolk Country Club in Norfolk on Friday and Saturday, October 6 and 7.
