    NORFOLK - In observance of Memorial Day, Northeast Community College offices in Norfolk, and its extended campuses in O’Neill, South Sioux City and West Point will be closed on Monday, May 29.

    by jamesc  5/26/2017 8:05:20 AM --  NORFOLK - Obtaining a college degree is a milestone in anyone’s life, and Northeast Community College offers a process for its former students, whether they hold an advanced degree or have never earned a degree, to earn an associate degree from Northeast. The College encourages students who attended the institution, but left before graduation to attend a four-year college or university, to consider completing an associate degree by transferring credits back to Northeast.

  • Mental health issues to be discussed at O'Neill health conference

    O’NEILL, NE – A number of sessions focusing on mental health issues will be held during Northeast Community College’s 2017 O’Neill Health Conference. The conference will be held Tuesday, June 27, from 8:30 a.m-4 p.m., in the O’Neill Community Center, 501 S. 4th Street. Registration and breakfast begin at 7:45 a.m.

Trent Jorgensen, Norfolk Catholic, and Anthony Kosh, Scotus Central Catholic in Columbus, will play for the Hawks next fall, according to Doug Seigle, Northeast coach.

    NORFOLK – Northeast Community College will host the 20th annual Northeast Nebraska All-Star Volleyball Classic next month. The event will take place Saturday, June 10, at 5 p.m. in the Cox Activities Center at Northeast Community College in Norfolk.

    NORFOLK – Some of the finest high school basketball players in the region will take to the hardwood next month in Norfolk. Northeast Community College will host the 34th Annual Northeast Nebraska All-Star Basketball Games in the Cox Activities Center on Friday, June 16. The girls’ game will tip-off at 6 p.m. with the boys’ game to follow at 8 p.m.

    FAIRBANKS, AK – Northeast Community College has assigned a recruit from Alaska to play baseball next season. Colin King, Fairbanks, AK, is the Hawk’s 27th commitment to the College’s new program. He played for Lathrop High School.
