  • Northeast volleyball goes 1-1 on second day of Ridgewater Tournament

    by amandab  9/18/2017 8:47:14 AM --  WILLMAR, MN - The Northeast Community College volleyball team finished 1-1 on the second day of the Ridgewater College tournament here Saturday. After a successful day one in which the Hawks swept both College of DuPage and Ridgewater, day two saw Northeast falling to University of Jamestown JV in four sets (25-19, 22-25, 26-28, 21-25) and defeating St. Cloud Technical and Community College in three (25-19, 25-14, 25-17).

    NORFOLK, NE – Northeast Community College has named a new director of athletics. Kurt Kohler comes to Northeast from Fort Hays State University in Kansas, where he has served as head volleyball coach for the past nine seasons.

    NORFOLK, NE – Several area students who have yet to graduate high school are already considered college students. “You’re college students now,” said Lyle Kathol, vice president of educational services at Northeast Community College, as he spoke recently to approximately 70 seniors from 16 high schools who are enrolled in the College’s Fridays @ Northeast program.

The blood drive will be held by LifeServe Blood Center at the Northeast Community College extended campus, 1001 College Way in South Sioux City, on Monday, September 25, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

    NORFOLK, NE - A longtime member of the Northeast Community College Board of Governors has announced he is stepping down after 17-years. Dr. Don Oelsligle, Tilden, submitted his letter of resignation during the board’s monthly meeting Tuesday in Norfolk.
