Earning your degree in global studies can put you on a globe-trotting path not often started at a 2-year school. Gaining an international perspective can increase your desirability to employers in a variety of business industries, such as government, trade, banking, and travel and tourism. After completing your associate of arts degree at Northeast, you can enter the workforce or continue onto the bachelor’s program of your choice. .

You’ll also have the opportunity to put your global studies education into action. Northeast offers study abroad opportunities where you’ll experience new cultures, learn about the world, and meet new people. Students have studied in Spain, England, France, Ireland, Canada, Scotland, the Czech Republic, Costa Rica and Austria.

Career Information

This interdisciplinary program of study is designed to give you a framework that will lead you into diverse career-fields. These career-fields will require you to have a global perspective, such as government, international trade, international banking and economics, diplomacy, non-profits, international security, travel and tourism, and the like.
