The Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers Course is designed to provide a wide variety of healthcare professionals the ability to recognize life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR, use an AED, and relieve choking. This course is designed for the first time or renewal certification and has two parts for completion. Part 1 is Web-based and accessible 24 hours a day, provides a flexible alternative to classroom training. Part 2 is a skills session where hands on practice and competency testing are completed with a Certified AHA Instructor. Heartcode - Heartsaver CPR and AED Online and Skills Session

The Heartsaver CPR course is CPR and AED course that teaches how to recognize and treat life-threatening emergencies including cardiac arrest and choking for responsive and non-responsive adult, children and infants. The general public is the target audience for this course. The application and use of the automated, electronic defibrillator (AED) is also included. This course is designed for the first time or renewal certification and has two parts for completion. HIPAA Refresher

Precision Agriculture Implementation: The Right Way for You

For over 30 years, advances in management practices and technology has continued to increase yield potential, resource management, and profitability margins. Compile that with increasing land and input costs, and the advent of environmental issues and regulations, one can appreciate any method that promotes the possibility of increased revenue, better decision making, record keeping, and reporting.

Precision Agriculture has grown over the same period. It reaches into every area of agriculture, row crops, livestock (both confinement and range production), orchards, edible crops, and organics. Growing from “simple” yield and moisture monitoring to variable rate and multi hybrid seeding, variable rate fertility, variable rate irrigation, robotic weeding, spot spraying by weed species, livestock health and vitals monitoring, a myriad of remote sensing options, autonomous vehicles, and sensors and meters to monitor and control virtually any aspect of the operation imaginable.

Variable Rate Irrigation and Your Operation - South Sioux City

As water availability and quality become a greater issue, it is important to stay up to date with the current technologies available and understand the benefits they provide to their owners. In this 3-part series, we will discuss:

• Variable rate irrigation technologies available
• Pros and cons of each type of variable rate irrigation
• Strengths of each type of variable rate irrigation
• Proper environment for each type of variable rate irrigation

Session 3 will put you face to face with several variable rate irrigation venders to give you low-pressure, non-binding options and costs to implement variable rate irrigation in your field.
