Acrylic: Holiday Lights

Of all the lights that shine during the holidays, nothing is more quiet and serene than that of a gently burning candle. In this acrylic-on-canvas class, students will produce an 11x14 painting of pillar candles with a holiday flair. Step-by-step instructions still allow for choices of color and other elements to make a truly one-of-a-kind piece of art. All levels welcome and supplies provided. Wear old clothes or bring an apron.

Acrylic: Hydrangeas in the House

Hydrangeas are truly a garden gift that keeps on giving. When allowed to dry, the soft mounds of flower clusters provide cold-weather color and texture for indoor decor. Hydrangeas also make for perfect still-life subject matter for the painter. Couple this vintage floral charm with rusty antiques for a complementary dichotomy of shabby-chic! Acrylic painting on a 16x20 canvas. Wear old clothes or an apron.
