The following is a list of service available through Career Services.

  • Provide one-on-one advisement and personal attention to students/alumni as they conduct their job search.
  • Locate websites with vacancy notices to specifically meet the needs of students’ job search.
  • Post jobs daily to on-line job board.
  • Assist with writing and completing resumes, cover letters, and applications.
  • Conduct mock interviews or schedule employers to conduct mock interviews.
  • Provide guidance and tips on interviewing skills.
  • Inform students and alumni of steps in conducting a job search and follow up techniques.
  • Provide assessments such as TypeFocus and Career Connections for career options.
  • Present workshops on resume/cover letter preparation, job search strategies, interviewing and dining etiquette.
  • Offer lifetime employment assistance to alumni at no charge.
  • Books, brochures and other resources related to job search are available for review.
  • Computer room for printing application materials and conducting job search.
  • Work closely with employers and organizations to assist with their emplyoment needs and information inquiries.
