OSHA Lockout Tagout

Course Description

This course is specifically designed to inform employees of the minimum requirements for the lockout or tag out of energy isolating devices whenever maintenance or servicing is done on machines or equipment, or when the machine or equipment is broken and cannot be repaired due to awaiting parts. The purpose of this training is to reduce the number of injuries by accidental start- up of a machine or piece of equipment while undergoing servicing or routine maintenance. This training meets the requirements of 29 CFR 1910.147 Control of Hazardous Energy.
