The West Point Extended Campus is located adjacent to the Donald E. Nielsen Community Center at 202 Anna Stalp Avenue in West Point, Nebraska. The facility has state-of-the-art classrooms, computer labs, and science labs.
Opportunities through the West Point Extended Campus include Early College classes for high school students in both transfer and technical areas; health related course offerings – lifetime wellness, Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), first aid; short-term business and industry training in areas such as entrepreneurship, leadership, succession planning, and employee on-boarding; and student support services such as advising, testing, tutoring and a writers' clinic. In all, over 100 credit and non-credit courses and classes are offered through the extended campus.

NORFOLK – Dr. Terry Nelson, West Point, is the new chairperson of the Northeast Community College Board of Governors. He began serving his term at Thursday’s meeting of the board in Norfolk. Nelson, District IV member, succeeds Shirley Petsche, Petersburg, a District I representative.

NORFOLK – A Norfolk financial institution has established a scholarship in the memory of one of the original founders of the business. BankFirst created the scholarship at Northeast Community College in the name of Duane Acklie, who also served as the bank’s chairman of the board.
