  • Nipp named new Northeast vice president

  • Northeast board receives update on Vision 2020

At its monthly meeting here Thursday, College administrators provided the board with an update on first year accomplishments through Vision 2020.

He comes to Northeast with over 15 years of collegiate soccer coaching experience including five as a head coach at the junior college level.

Akuma was one of several students to march in the annual parade that also recognized Norfolk’s 150th anniversary.

  • Northeast trains technicians for cool careers

So far in 2016, that has occurred ten times. With approximately three more months of warm weather in the region, many people will count on the work of technicians to make sure the air inside homes and businesses stays at comfortable levels.

  • Northeast men's basketball signs standout from England

  • Northeast Drafting program adds new concentration

Structural Drafting will be offered as a concentration in the Associate of Applied Arts (AAS) in Drafting program beginning this fall. It joins Architectural and Industrial Facility drafting as concentrations offered by Northeast’s Drafting AAS program.

  • Northeast to close for Independence Day; fall registration continues

    by jamesc  6/27/2016 10:12:05 AM --  NORFOLK - In observance of Independence Day, all offices at Northeast Community College in Norfolk and its extended campuses in O’Neill, South Sioux City and West Point, will close on Friday, July 1, at 3 p.m. The college and its extended campuses will re-open Tuesday, July 5, at 8 a.m.

  • Longtime Northeast supporter establishes new endowed scholarship

Renee Halsey, Norfolk, has created the R.E.N.E.E. H.A.L.S.E.Y. Scholarship, which stands for Rain Enhanced Nature Environmentally Enriching Horticulture through Attractive Landscaping Simply by Educating Youth.
